Students who wish to attend the CASAS program but are not interested in earning college credit may enroll via e-mail and deposit payment into our American account before arrival in Guatemala. The non-credit program includes 4 hours of Spanish classes 5 days a week, all room and board, all CASAS-related program travel, and afternoon activities and lectures. An additional $30-$40 book fee is required of all the across cultural program participants and an optional $12/month provides unlimited access to the Internet in the SEMILLA library. Students are also expected to cover their own local bus transportation (approximately $10/month).
Students who wish only Spanish instruction rather than enrolling in
an intercultural term may do so under the Afternoon Tutoring in Spanish program.
